Rooty

Last year, the hopeless twig that had been wrapped in tinsel finally mercifully gave up the ghost. Mr nut found a nice tree at a reasonable cost and skipped all the way to Wilkos to get it. He's called him 'rooty' and promised to 'release him back into the Wild' when he gets too big to be a Christmas tree.

Personally I like the way the tree has become self decorating, though the decorations are mostly in the centre front, clustered at nuttley eyelevel.


Other news: was woken at 4 am by a rat being pursued around my house jim brandishing gift wrap. The rat avoided being turned into a present and remains at large.
