Dried Plant in Afternoon Sun

I went for a walk along the bike track beside the railway line and took some random shots.

Had to get Mr isbi to decide between this and some gum trees.
It's actually all dried up, but caught the sun nicely.

I again used the 60mm with the x2 digital zoom.
It's such a handy lens to take out walking.
I saw lots of butterflies which would have been good macro subjects but they were very active and didn't settle at all.
Maybe because of the hot, dry wind.
Real bushfire weather I fear.
