Black and white (people)

Instead of our usual Wednesday we went to the closing Christmas party at compassion where all the parents are invited which marks the final compassion of the year. Spent most of the day playing with kids and running around. Then went in the church for a celebration and dancing.

This is me and little opio Genesis (opio in acholi means first born twin who is a boy - unfortunately, opi's little sister - achien precious meaning 2nd born twin girl didn't make it) after he had fallen over and I'd picked him back up. We then spent a good 20 minutes walking around hand in hand and chatting - of course he spoke acholi and little English but I listened and nodded Away!)

The 40 min Cycle ride to the church is Definately getting harder and harder in the heat which is slowly starting to creep up hitting highs of mid 40s!

Started cooking for the evening and the gas ran out half way through! This meant we had to run up to the local restaurant on the corner before it shut to get some pizza as there was nothing else we could do - such a sacrifice! Ha!
