"Brummie" the Bull

Back to work and to my home city of Birmingham for a workshop. I've wanted to take a photo of Brummie for years. Initially, when the Bull RIng was constructed, there were warning signs everywhere stating "No Photography". The other issue is people congregating round him not allowing a full shot.

Anyway I was early and things were quiet. He is dressed up in his patriotic clothing to celebrate our "Bostin" summer!

This is the Wiki description:

At the main entrance to the west building stands The Guardian, a 2.2-metre (7 ft 3 in) tall bronze sculpture of a turning bull. It was created by Laurence Broderick and has become a very popular photographic feature for visitors to Birmingham. The statue was vandalised in 2005 requiring that it be removed for repairs, but was returned to its spot again later that year. The sculptor has given his support to calls for the statue to be renamed "Brummie the Bull". However, it is more widely known as simply "The Bull." The sculpture was vandalised again in 2006.
