Blueberries

This morning we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy a delightful riverside walk with very little drizzle. We were treated to the unusual sight of six Canada Geese swimming down the river and I cannot remember ever having seen them here before. Further down the river a group of mallard were cuddled together amongst a pile of stones and further yet, a lone female with three surviving youngsters.

Once home we practised some watercolour techniques and specifically discovering how many shades of green we could make with combinations of different blues and yellows. It was most relaxing and quite educational.

During supper last night V and I had made a start on the blueberries from my greenhouse and they were so tasty that I thought I had better blip them before they totally disappeared.

Bruce thanks you all for the comments, stars and hearts from yesterday and is delighted you are pleased with his having turned over a new leaf and he hopes he can keep it up!
