Treasured Possession

A rainy day blip!

This is all that's left of a china dinner/tea service, a mid 1940's wedding present to my parents. I don't remember it ever being used but as children we would raid the sideboard and play tea parties with it before being sent to bed with a smacked bum for being naughty!

Hope the weather brightens up for the seven P&O liners when they sail from Southampton tomorrow evening.
