Illumination

The day started with a miracle - No hangover! This is extraordinary having spent the evening at Crispin & Charlotte's and in the company of Ma & Pa Prentice.

It was also a beautifully calm and sunny day - Paradise! Although I don't think Evie the Wonderdog thinks she is in paradise just now...She is in residence with us until Monday. Poor Evie.

We walked the dogs at Waulkmill with the low tide and the sun giving off a little warmth. It was strange being able to hear things that the wind noise would usually cover. There was a huge gathering of cormorants diving for fish and although they were a little way out in the bay, we could hear them slicing into the water.

We later headed to town for supermarket supplies and I was reminded why I hate supermarket shopping so much and also the greed and ridiculousness of Christmas. Whilst in town we took a drive to the pier and also the Cathedral to take shots of illuminations. In the end, however, I preferred my shot of Talisker watching birds diving into an illuminated sea.

Gorgeous took a fantastic shot of the Cathedral at night. Looking forward to seeing how the Lukearse has interpreted illumination.
