Photo 169 #366photos: Crumpled City

1 July 2012

I spent the day catching up on the BBC's documentary series, The Secret History of Our Streets. In the programmes, they make use of Charles Booth's excellent poverty maps. And then my mum popped home with a freebie to celebrate the launch of the Emirates Air-line cable car - a soft, crumple-able city map. I've always thought these maps were a very clever invention - waterproof, lightweight and crumple-able. And I love maps.
