Travelled by train .....

...... to Edinburgh today ... very disappointing weather ... wet, grey and chilly but L and I certainly enjoyed meeting up with our nieces .  
We started off having coffee in The Dome ..... the decorations there are just incredible.  When we came out a barrier had been put in place and people were queuing up to get in .... glad we were early!
From there we set off to the German market where we sampled some very yummy food while trying to keep warm and dry.  I did see skaters ..... some very good and some needing the help of a penguin!  A great day but I was glad to get home to the warmth.
