Wheels

A beautiful sunny day here in Orkney, with frost and ice on the puddles. I had a short walk along Honeysgeo road on South Ronaldsay, then along the shore northward to the beach by barrier No.4 and Burray village. A chiffchaff was in a garden and other birds (not in the garden!) included golden plover, lapwings, curlews, fieldfares, blackbirds, red-breasted mergansers, long-tailed ducks, goldeneyes, slavonian grebes, snipe, purple sandpipers, wigeon etc.
