Evening at Bærums Verk

This picture is from Bærums verk, an old site for ironwork (400 years back in time) and from 1980 a place for culture and shopping in beautiful old building.

I went here to visit my old friend Hege, who every year for 38 years, have invited some good friends for a porrageparty. It might sound strange, but this porrage, made of rice and milk, with cinnomon, sugar and butter on top, is a traditional meal, which are eaten aroud Christmas or on saturdays throughout the year. Often it is eaten together with dry, salted ham, and we drink red blackcurrent sap.
