My Great Aunt Mary

Great aunt not just in lineage.
Mary Gordon, nee Walker, was my dad's beloved aunt-not that much older than him really. My mum tells the story of visiting his 'aunt' early in their relationship and being rather gobsmacked that this titian haired beauty was his AUNT!
Aunty Mary has been a grandma to me. I've been close to her all my life and today, at the remarkable age of 93 and a half, she has left us all behind.
Dignified and beautiful.
I will miss her very much.
