Salvo Christmas

The Salvation Army did a pretty good job of reaching out to the community today. They had market stalls, cheap eats, free jumping castles, a petting zoo, good Christmas music with decent volume, a skit or two, Santa (who told the children the Real Message of Christmas), and a few interactive games for the children. My little one joyfully knocked herself about on the jumping castle for over an hour. My only criticism was that the smokers at the periphery were not able to keep their smoke to themselves. It's funny how since they've banned it almost everywhere you find it even more obnoxious when you do smell it. Nevertheless, we'll go again next year- all of us.
