The Seagull Whisperers

Decided on a trip to the river late this arvo. Toto was excited by the prospect and so off we went.

When we tried our first favourite spot there were hundreds of people having a xmas party with rides for the kids and Santa. Drove on to the next favourite!

Noticed there were more cars than usual at this one too but drove into the park just the same. Next thing we're caught in a gridlock situation!! Toto was champing at the bit to get out of the car but we were not moving grrrr!!

After 15 minutes we finally were lucky enough to get a park and get out of the car, Toto was relieved as he relieved himself! ;o)

Turns out the thousands of people competing for carparks were there to attend Carols by Candlelight which didnt start until much later but they were all there very early!

We had a long walk and saw these two guys feeding the seagulls. There were hundreds of them, not sure what they were feeding them but it definitely wasnt bread and they were all fighting over it, made quite a sight!

When they finally packed it in and walked away a lot of the seagulls followed them. It looked so funny I had to take a shot and they both looked around as I took it and werent impressed for some reason and I dont think they realised they were being followed either!! LoL
