You had to be there..

...but it did involve a syringe full of antibiotics and 5 dogs.

We drove up to St John's Wood to visit Pete's cousin, Sue, and drop some stuff off that we have been storing for her.    Geographically St John's Wood is only about 18 miles  from where we live, but driving through London, even on a dreary Sunday morning, took us one hour and 15 minutes.

Sue provided a delicious brunch, Pete provided some stand up comedy, I provided the camera  and five dogs provided cuddles and more entertainment.

Later on we drove to Enfield for a late lunch at Rob's.   More lovely food and  fun was had here.   Together we managed to get Rob's coffee machine working that he had bought for £5.

A  top day out inspite of the horrid dull weather AND we have come home with;
 a bag of books and dvds from Rob
 a bag of buns and croissants, a board game called 'Kensington', a jar of cherries, backgammon set and  a tray of spuds from Sue.
That was beginning to sound a bit Generation Gamey there.
quite a haul and totally unexpected.

I'm rather behind with blip but have every intention of catching up with  all.

Extras are the dapper doggies and the coffee machine moment.
