Ghost Bike

This is a Ghost Bike like many others scattered around Tucson. This one is near a busy intersection close to where I formerly lived. It is one of the most elaborate memorials that I have seen. In addition to the floweres, there are poems, a photograph, a small music box that plays Christmas Carols when you walk past and other mementos. On the street side is a big sign, "We Miss You". His familly is hurting.

Daniel Wilson, age 30, was in the turning lane and was hit by a motorist that turned to the right in front of him. That is called a 'right hook' and causes about half of the bicyle - motorist fatalities in the US.
