My beloved Oslo - Super A

The peaking pigeons by the dutch street artist Super A (Stefan Thelen).

Cafe Amsterdam invited him to do this mural to enrich the neighborhood and put a smile on the faces to the people that pass by - and hopefully pass the smile on. 

Cafe Amsterdam say that doves are being called the rats of the sky in the Netherlands, but they prefer a different approach. The doves are intelligent, but also symbol for peace, innocence, freedom and love. And the color scheme on their feathers are magnificent. 

I must admit that I smile when I pass the doves, I think the mural are quite cool!

Stefen Thelen aka Super A is born in 1981 and is one of the most famous street artists from the Netherlands. He took the name Super A since he consider himself as anti-superhero that needed an alter ego that can get away with the things he can’t in daily life. 

Stefen is graduating from the Graphic Lyceum in Rotterdam, and beside street art he also paint realistic images in oil paint in Remberant style.
