Colour vs. Black & White
I thought I would experiment and develop this roll of colour (Kodak Ektar 100 film) using black & white chemistry. I thought I had once read this was doable and assumed it must be as even colour film still uses silver as the photosensitive material.
It works, but the results are far from satisfactory. One of the biggest issues is the film is much too dark once the process is over. You can hardly see anything on the film. My scanner was able to retrieve some useful images, but the tonal range is poor.
It was fun and I am glad I did this, but I don't think I'll do it again. :)
