The University of Oregon hosts the Oregon Bach Festival every summer.

Musicians of all descriptions congregate in Eugene for a week to celebrate the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.

Today we get to attend two such concerts.

A world class organist, tenor vocalist, and baroque violinist teamed up to play a concert at noon today at the Central Lutheran Church featuring, among other pieces, Bach's Passacaglia.

The concert program states it is Bach's masterpiece of organ music that has not been surpassed in the 250 years since he wrote it.

This evening we will enjoy a world class strings presentation of the Goldberg Variations by J.S. Bach at the Beall Auditorium.

Sweet.
