Tiny Tuesday - "Russian Doll"

Not strictly one of the Russian nesting dolls - but a Christmas tree decoration painted in a similar style.

We bought these, a set of 6, on a visit to St. Petersburg a few years ago. They are about 5cm tall - but they are bit large for the tiny tree we have now.

However, today I did hang it on a branch of the tree. Some of the lights are reflected off the paint (along with my little ring flash)!

Processed with reduced highlights and reduced clarity to 'soften' it a bit. Hah, pay all this money for a sharp macro lens and then go and faff with it to make it softer!
