Still cheerful

My pansies still have a cheery face despite the continued gloomy weather. How we long for a bit of sunshine, but we mustn't grumble, it is still very warm for the time of year.

Out to lunch with our "third Tuesday" friends. Instead of going to a pub as usual, we dined at their home. They reckoned it would be quieter and it was indeed a lovely relaxed meal. I've just driven home down narrow lanes with far too much rush hour traffic, their headlights dazzling on the wet evening. Horrible journey, but Normous does enjoy Martin's liquid hospitality so it is better that I drive!
