Seeing stars!

We met up with fellow blipper Caroline Beveridge again today. She had got tickets for us to tour the Billingsgate Roman Bath House, which is only open on rare occasions, being tucked away under a 1970s building on Lower Thames Street. It was really interesting to see, and to hear the various theories as to whether it was a public or private bath house. We agreed with the idea that it was built for the Roman equivalent of a Travelodge!

Afterwards we wandered around central London, visiting the exhibition in the Fleet Street Press cafe, the ice rink at Somerset House and also going into the crypt of St Martins in the Fields, before going for our usual pizza.

By the time we finished, it was really dark, so Caroline took us to see the lights in Carnaby Street, easily the best we saw all weekend!

Thanks Caroline, for a really great time!
