Usher Hall Stage

Just relaxing with a very large mug of cocoa after singing in the Lothian Hospitals Christmas Carol Concert at the Usher Hall, featuring Jamie MacDougall, John Kitchen, Bun-Sgoil Taobh na Pairce (The Gaelic School Choir) and our old friends, Thistle Brass, under the direction of Neil Houston with accompanist Chris Harding. This was my 20th year running of singing in this choir in aid of the Clic Sargent Scotland appeal.

The only photo I managed to snaffle shows the vibraphone player ( whose name I did not catch and who does not appear in the programme) preparing to accompany our rehearsal of Silent Night.
The three clarsacs seen here were played by children from the school to accompany one of the Gaelic School choir songs, who charmed us all.

All in all, a brilliant concert, and we look forward to next year which will be a special celebration, so watch this space!
