even more leafiness

lovely light just after 3pm today - that'd be the last fading light of the day, with sunset at 4pm and total darkness by about 5pm. there are things i like about winter but this is not one of them! also, flipping back i see it's amazing the difference a month makes! i don't think it's the same tree, but it's the same little group anyway. am i noticing the changes more because i'm photographing so much so often this year, because i'm feeling melancholy and noticing things dying, or did i just forget that i noticed last year? answers on a whisker from schrodinger's cat...

also, i just caught up with 'the history of scotland' via iplayer - i had forgotten how yum neil oliver is! if he'd been my history teacher i'd have gotten an a, i'm sure ;-)
