run to the beach

a cold grey day today, but unlike yesterday, lots more opportunities to pick up my camera; which I didn't do until twilight. I strolled down towards Glenelg Beach via Moseley Square, but started picking up the pace as I got clear of all the palm trees and tramline detritus. A thin band of orange glow under an ominous purple cloud cover- the sea turned silver at one point. And only seconds left to capture it. Almost threw my glasses to the ground trying to get the camera to my face.
