Walton Street: Stripes, Bands, and Lines

December is darker in large.

It is so profoundly dark when I walk home...
I did rather like the light on the wet ground as I waited to cross Walton Street; there is a row of trendy shops and bars, and they're all lit up for Christmas which can make for intriguing lighting effects when the ground is wet...
AND, in a follow up to Monday's blip, Uncle Sam's on Little Clarendon Street was being emptied and refitted! It has been completely static for months, but now seems to be moving on. I'll be interested to see what it becomes over the next few weeks...
