Memories

My Christmas Nativity scene holds many memories for me.  Each year I remember that the crib was built by the husband of a music teacher who worked with me in Glasgow, but who lived in Whithorn, near to Wigton in S.W. Scotland and whom I've been able to contact when I've gone to the Wigton book festival.  I bought the Murano Glass kings in 2000 when we went to Venice on holiday.  There is also a king, made by our granddaughter from a toilet roll tube. The donkey I bought a few years ago when we went on a Christmas market cruise on canals in Brussels. This is the case with lots of my decorations as many places have Christmas shops all year round and I usually buy something as a memento.
