How lucky am I ...

You don't have to answer that .. It wasn't really a question ..
I've been to a place called Donna Nook nature reserve up near Louth in Lincolnshire ... In October the seals turn up to do rude business and then through November and December they have the pups ... Then by New Years they are all gone and come back the year after ... The seals are VERY chilled out and certainly enjoy the attention .. They play to the camera .. The babies more so than the big male Bulls.
They are so close you could if you were incredibly stupid ,touch them .. There are wardens and also signs everywhere DO NOT TOUCH THE SEALS... This is for everyone's safety and of course so it does not stress out the mumma seals ... They do manage to get close enough to rub their noses on the lens of the cameras though !!!
This was right up there with me seeing the loggerhead turtles in Turkey .... I was quite tearful with excitement seeing these little blobs of lard ...

Remember they are only there up close from October to December .. November being the BEST month to see the babies ...
