City hall skating rink

Toronto city hall is decked out for the holidays. The reflecting pond has been transformed in to a beautiful free skating rink for the next 3 months. Luckily they have a freezing system under the sheet of ice, because it is just not cold enough to maintain freezing. We started out this morning at 9 degrees Celsius! We will have some freezing temps this weekend but we are to bounce back to double digits for most of next week. If that is the case I may get some bike rides in. Had a wonderful long lunch hour walk with a good friend and after work my sweetie and I wandered through the downtown core admiring the sights, especially because it isn't cold! Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday. Tonight's advent tea is mulled wine, yesterday was Japanese sencha and the day before that was Buddhas blend.mmmmmm
