The 'new' Bridge

I took this blip of the new bridge when I was crossing the auld brig heading into the high street. It wasn't till I got home and did a bit of research before publishing that I realised that the 'new' bridge was built in 1878! Suppose that is 'new' as the bridge I was on was built in 1470!
Managed to get a narrow window in the rainy weather to get a bit of retail therapy- love the sales!
