No 2: Three United Trades of Dundee

Yes, I was back at the hospital, this time for a dressing change by the Plastic Surgery nurse who was pleased with progress.
I also drove the car to do some shopping, changing gear and putting on the handbrake are still quite awkward so I won't be driving far for a while, it was nice to have a bit of independence without waiting on buses!
The gas men and plumber came to move the meter and outdoor supply to meet it's new location - but then the plumber had to move the inside supply pipe as well! He thought he could just join the gap where the meter had been but one side was too old and made of the wrong sort of metal. So after half an hour wandering around trying to see what he could do he opted to run a new pipe through the garage and make a hole back into the house to join up again.
That necessitated moving a load of junk in the garage so he could get to the wall, I knew I should have tidied up in there earlier in the year but something always seemed more attractive a task! Fortunately Mr Rat was on hand to help moving the heavier stuff and I did throw out a few things. More will be dealt with before everything gets put back.
