Beer Bread

I found this bread mix in the Oxfam shop, while browsing around for one or two last-minute presents, so added one to my basket for me. It's incredibly easy to make - just add beer, mix to a stiff batter and pop in the loaf tin. It comes out a bit like a soda bread - quite crumbly but very tasty (see extra photo).
The choice of beer, of course, makes all the difference to the final product. I happened to have a bottle of Ale of Wight in the cupboard, a citrus blond beer - I've a feeling my friend Sue may recognise the brewery...
