The 12 Days of Christmas

Victoria Park in Stretford, Manchester, is known as a "community park". I'm not sure exactly what that means, but I suspect it means few, if any, paid workers and lots of volunteers. It certainly is a wonderful community resource and apart from being a lovely green space serves as a base for a whole number of community organised events. This year a group of local residents have created their own version of the 12 days of Xmas in the form of window displays. Beginning about a fortnight ago, a new one was unveiled each day and now all are on display. Our daughter's contribution was the 3 French Hens.This shows the final, day 12, display.
