Bunting

I took a much better picture of this on Saturday with a backdrop of a bit of (shock, gasp) blue sky and white fluffy clouds, but then the squabbling sparrows just edged it for the blip for the day. This is the bunting for the Olympics in Stirling (I mean the bunting's in Stirling, the Olympics aren't, obviously!). I don't know how those shoes got up there.

I had heard that if you see shoes like this over say a telegraph wire then it was meant to signify that you could buy drugs nearby. It's so common that I'm not sure I believe it, surely the police would be onto it by now? I prefer to think of it along the lines of the traffic cones on statues, the result of a drunken bet.
