Old gig ticket - Slade

So, it was 34 years ago today that I saw Slade at the Hammersmith Odeon. this was a real Christmas concert and I remember there was a very rowdy and enthusiastic crowd. I really can't remember who the support band was though, and Google's not helping me much. Slade were on great form and had everybody, even us up in the circle, dancing about the whole night.

For a while my mate James used to blather on about how U2 were the band who had been going for the longest without a change in line up and were still going, and until they wound up I always used to quote Slade back at him.
