Ralph and Sid

It's always a delight to find in the Christmas mail, handmade cards and photos of family and friends. I know how much time is involved in making one's own cards, I did it once upon a time, but have fallen by the wayside in the last few years.
Our niece Carol in Fort William and her father, His Lordship's brother, produced winners along with Glasgow daughter and talented son-in-law's joint quirky card.

Along with these, are proudly displayed the grandchildren's homemade cards. We have a rabbit with long ears, a snowman with fluffy buttons and abstract snowflakes.
The latter accompanied this very new photograph from the grandsons in Shipley. Since we don't see Ralph and Sid very often it is lovely to have it and see how they have grown since August.

Our peaceful hiatus continues today :an early walk for a toasty breakfast, a dose of Blipfoto, a reading of the Sunday papers, and a spot of drawing to the prompt of 'Rock' by Queen. Just a little pressure after all!
