One man and his shark

Finally some internet access out in the quieter corners of Indonesia.

This chap was fishing just up the beach from me this morning. After a while I saw that he was struggling with something and went to have a look. He promptly passed over the handline attached to several feet of annoyed shark and while he tidied the spare line away I gradually persuaded Mr Blacktip (with accompanying remora) onto the sand.

After lending him my pliers so he didn't lose any fingers we slid the shark back into the sea and went back to catching nothing of any consequence...
