Risley Moss

After such awful weather over the past few weeks, it was lovely to wake up to a glorious morning of sunshine. I headed to Risley Moss and sat watching the birds at the woodland hide for an hour or so.
I managed to spot quite a few varieties - Great Tit, Blue Tit, Coal Tit, Blackbird, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Bullfinch, Pigeon, Magpie, Dove, Robin, Tree Creeper(I think), Woodpecker, Nuthatch & this beautiful Jay.
Glad I went out this morning as although it is still quite warm, it has, of course, started to rain again!
Now back home and getting ready to watch SPOTY and the final of the Apprentice tonight. After the Strictly final last night, it's been a good weekend for evening TV for a change :)
