Derelict Sunday.

Have passed this spot many times, but it is on a very busy road so it is not easy to stop there.  I have often thought it would make a subject for the Derelict Sunday challenge hosted by Maisiebeth.  Sunday morning seemed my best chance of getting a shot.  I have no idea what the story is behind what appears to be a summer house.  There is an area in front that looks to be the remains of a man made pool or pond and the flat area in front of the building leads to two gateposts ( although there is no gate any more).  I am intrigued to find out more so will put my historian hat on and try to find out what I can.
