Breaker (Day 227)

My beautiful wife and I spent a while in the garden this morning, trimming trees and burning some of the smaller bits. The log pile for the non-existent log burner has grown a bit more today.
After lunch we headed to Birsay where I hoped to get a shot for the 3 Bob Challenge. Bob had chosen "force", and I thought of some rocks at Birsay which have been folded by some massive force. I took some really rubbish shots of the bent rock strata, one of which is the extra pic for today.
The breaking waves saved me. They were only around 3 to 5 metres today, but were still impressive. I could watch these huge waves all day, their force has shaped the islands I call home.
