Lights in the North

Out there, hidden by the clouds, the Northern Lights are dancing. I watched the clouds lighten and darken - the only real flash of the lights was at the horizon, which you can sort of make out in this shot.

This was the first excursion out of the house, I'd spent the day recovering from an impromptu tasting of all my flavoured Xmas spirits last night. The rhubarb vodka was the clear favourite!
