American tree sparrow

I haven't seen too many of these at the feeders  this year. The usual visitors   were joined today by this little guy and a cardinal couple. 8 doves joined them , which is the most I've seen in quite a while. You can just see the stick pin on the chest with the red-brown cap and the yellow lower beak that identifies this bird as a tree sparrow. He spent some time on the ground looking in the leaves and then was in and out of the feeder. They like millet , unlike most of the rest of my bird visitors who clearly prefer sunflower seeds.
