A two peg day!

Before Janelle left for work (7.15am) she reminded me to put the washing out, and said it was definitely a two peg day......she was absolutely spot on, gales force nor westers have buffeted us last night and all day as well.  Still cranking now.

I've tagged this monomonday100 , but not sure if it really fits the bill. Ella, Harry and I spent the morning making crackers for the "celebration" of Christmas. they turned out not too bad either.  We were rather proud of our efforts.

Special thanks to Paladian for starting this challenge 100 weeks ago.  It's been good for us that have embraced the challenge when we could. And, big pats on backs to us that have done a month of so of running the challenge over the last 100 weeks.

This afternoon we walked to Kandallah Village for a few supplies, easy but a different story on the way back. They live way up on a hill and let me tell you it was very challenging on the return trip.  So much so we found a shady grassed place with an abundance of of lawn daisies and set too making daisy chains.

34degrees in Timaru today, pleased that I wasn't there, it was hot enough here in Wellington.

The kids are counting the days down.
