St Stephen and Holy Trinity.

The Parish of S. Stephen & Holy Trinity lies within the area of Pillgwenlly, close to the mouth of the River Usk. Pillgwenlly has a population of approximately 6000, consisting of a number of different cultures and nationalities. Pillgwenlly is a lively place and the local shops, pubs and clubs help to foster a strong sense of community spirit.

S. Stephen’s is a Traditional Anglo Catholic Parish Church which supports the aims and objectives of Credo Cymru (Forward in Faith Wales).

S. Stephen’s is part of the Deanery of Newport in the Diocese of Monmouth.

The building of the church was completed in under twelve months, for on 16th October 1884, the service of consecration took place,
