Poppy Wave

I met up with friends from Leeds - Jan and John- to see the "Poppy Wave" at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.  To be honest we all thought it was a bit disappointing as the lake had been partly drained and the position didn't, and wouldn't, catch much sunlight. I also tripped up taking the photos and ended up with a cut on my face.  I take photos of animals such as cheetahs and haven't had any injuries, but ceramic poppies ....!
Far more interesting were the video installations of Bill Viola and I don't usually like this kind of work.  They were amazing.
