Missed it

Monday 21st Dec 2015 (1213)

The last of the sun was peeping through the clouds making a wonderful pattern as I drove home. I dashed in and grabbed the camera, then drove to "sunset corner" but with little hope of catching it. I was right, too late, it had gone.

Hopefully we won't miss the opportunity to help save blip. Very helpful post from Blipfuture via BlipCentral today. Trying to do my bit to spread the word on the crowdfunding initiative.  A lot of money has been pledged so far, which shows how some people value the site, but only 25% of the way there. How much do we value blip? Comparing it with what we spend on other items really helps put things in perspective. Every little helps. If the word "investment" is putting you off look on it as a Christmas present to blip (and ultimately to yourself) or think about it as buying a box of chocolates for each of your real blip friends for Christmas :-). Let's hope we hit that target. No point in having discussions on "what ifs" and what we'd like to see in the future if we don't hit that target first. The clock is ticking and I don't want to have to say goodbye.

UPDATE
I've just worked out that, regardless of investments, if everyone who posted on blip in November bought the equivalent of a box of chocolates for their four best blipfriends for Christmas we would raise the remaining money needed. Ok, I know this is simplistic and it depends on the size of the box of chocolates etc (and people abroad being able to donate) but it was just a thought. :-)
