Mono Monday 100 :: mm100 :: CELEBRATE

Lets CELEBRATE! Or that’s what Nook & Cranny are about to do. It seems a small bauble makes a good disco ball. You let them out for one second and…

CELEBRATING 100 Mono Mondays today thanks to Paladian and those who encouraged her to start all those weeks ago. Thanks also goes out to all the past hosts and everyone who have contributed throughout all the challenges.

Next week will be the last of my current stint as host. The old year will nearly be over, a new one about to begin. A chance to leave some things behind and look forward to new challenges and goals.

With this in mind next week’s Mono Monday challenge has a theme titled ‘ROOM 101”, with the tag mm101.

The phrase ROOM 101 was first coined in the book 1984 by George Orwell. It was a torture chamber where the Ministry of Love extracted information. It contained the worst things that anyone could fear. Orwell gave it that number after the room at the BBC where he endured hours of meetings.

More lately it has become better known in the UK as a game show where you are allowed to pick the one thing you hate and can have locked up for good in ROOM 101. This is your chance to do the same.

Pick something you’d like locked up in ROOM 101. I’d suggest it’s not someone, especially your nearest and dearest. Photographing a screen shot of one of your political leaders wouldn’t work either, I believe they have all been put in already! Find an object or situation that bugs you and you’d like to see stay locked up and away for good.

Hope you all have a happy festive season! Stars & Hearts will be sprinkled on Wednesday.

Now I wonder who I’ll be putting in ROOM 101….  ;o))
