Waves!Camera!Action!

The winds have come up and the waves too.  Wave action at Sandy Beach (that beautiful turquoise green on the left) and lower Halona Blow Hole ledge and marker to the right.  The waves pounding into the beach have reshaped a horseshoe area in the sand and uncovered more rocks.  The sets are a little sloppy and close together, but people are out surfing.  The whole ocean is a seething mass of waves and whitecaps.  Wave heights are in the single digits but slam into the rocks most satisfyingly.  Wind gusting to 20 mph and higher.  Exhilarating to be at the beach.
