After a couple of hectic weeks writing up my Masters Dissertation I figured its was time to have a bit of me time and headed to the hills of Scotland.


maybe my timing could have been better .. midsummers weekend saw literally hundreds of folk streaming down the tourist path up onto Ben Nevis as they either started or finished the Three Peaks Challenge. not only was I faced with an up hill hike but my start time of 8pm pretty much made it a dead certainty that I was going against the flow of traffic too... I hope its quieter on the top....
