Christmas send off

Over in Greenock today for the funeral of my great aunt Barbara, who was 94 years old. A remarkable lady, who had such an interesting life including being a sub-editor for DC Thompson before World War 2, before becoming a Sargent in the WAF and working at Bushy Park, where she met my great uncle Iain, who was a Lancaster bomber pilot.

The blip is of the Christmas tree in the Tontine Hotel in Greenock, where we went to after the funeral to swap reminisces.

One thing that our family is practised at, are festive time funerals!
